Hi all!

Is someone here who likes the music of the legendary band X-Japan, who disbanded in 1997? And what do you think about the reunion pronounced last year (without Hide R.I.P.)

What do you know of them? I was infected by them back in 1994 when I saw a concert from Japan (The great music experience) with X-Japan, Jon Bon Jovi, Joni Mitchell, INXS, Roger Tayler etc.
On youtube you can see their last concert from 31st december 1997, called "The Last Live". Or search for "Art of life" - 29 minutes long with an weird piano solo of about 8 minutes.

This are good songs. Have you heard the new song I.V., which is played at the end of the movie Saw IV?

X Japan are overwhelmingly brilliant, and definitely one of the best melodic metal bands there shall ever be. I love all of their albums and songs, however, Blue Blood is probably my favorite and, as for a song, probably Art Of Life, which is suppose is kind of a shoe-in. I must also compliment on the band's ballads, which are assuredly some of the most heartfelt, sincere and beautiful songs ever crafted.

I am happy to hear of the reunion as well, and I hope to someday experience the band live, though I think that is pretty unlikely considering my location, alas.

I have heard IV, and it's a good song. ^_^

It would be great to see the band live on stage. Unfortunately their gig in Paris was cancelled last year. But I hope that they will come to europe next year.
