In Nomine is so wonderful, every song is wonderfully made, though the other albums are all wonderful ! I love dargaard for everything they did yet, let's see for the next one !

I had to go with Rise and Fall. It's the album that originally hooked me, and I still find it to be the finest piece of work. It all works together as a whole, not just a bunch of individual tracks (this is true with all Dargaard's work, but I think it's best exemplified in this album).

From Elisabeth's chilling wails in the middle of the title track, to the awe-inspiring yet subtle synth riff in Bearer of the Flame. Winter and Queen of the Woods are also some of my favorite individual songs, but the whole album flows into one. Fantastic. Right now I'd probably consider it my all time favorite album by any artist.

All of Dargaard's albums are excellent. Tharen and Elizabeth are absolutely stunning together.

I've been working on an (hopefully) epic fantasy novel and world since 2001, and whenever I'm world-building, brainstorming, or (far less common) actually WRITING, lol, I put on various mixes of ambient, soundtracky music...mostly culled from intros and outros, some Mozart, basically whatever I can find that's inspiring.

Dargaard (and to a lesser extent Dominion3) is without a doubt the most inspirational music to write to. The instant it comes on I'm transported into the proper headspace....and I never get tired of it. Its just amazing. Tharen if you read this; thank you for your work and keep it coming, please!!!

"Rise and Fall" is my favorite album largely b/c of the way Elizabeth's voice sounds on it; also the Latin lyrics in Ave Atque Vale and Queen of the Woods, as well as the atmospheres of the songs are just a nod better on this album. "Dissolution of Eternity" is a close second though. Very close. In my mind, however, each album is incredible and special, timeless and deep. Its almost pointless to rate them!

I cannot freaking WAIT for a new album, as I feel each composition is getting better and better.

Rise and Fall by far. I think Elisabeth's vocal performance was a lot stronger than on the other albums and I appreciated the less subtle approach towards songwriting.

i think the best of dargaard (the best band i know) is "Dissolution of Eternity "
he is great and i haven't enought word in english for tell what i feel
this album is a novel which a beautiful story is tell with beautifull word

In Nomine Aeternitatis is my all time favorite Dargaard album. Although I DO love all four of them ; ).
But In Nomine Aeternitatis and it's songs speak to me and inspire me. I play it every night to go to sleep. And sometimes when I need to be calmed down.

Dargaard is perfect to listen to while meditating ; )
