Been a fan of dargaard for not quite a year now, but I certainly love the sound. Rise and Fall is my favorite to date, and being the most recent, I'm hoping that their forthcoming album will become even more of a favorite for me.
But is there another album coming? It's been close to 4 years now I guess since Rise and Fall, and the official Dargaard website doesn't seem like it's been updated in a couple years. I read somewhere that they were working on a new album, but is that just a rumor? Is Dargaard still around, or is it no more?
Any info from you folks that have more knowledge would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

I've not heard anything about new album
but I'd love to see new album ^_^

Hey all!
This is what Tharen wrote me and others in the old forum:
"hi landi - up to now i only got 4 songs finished, i just built a small home studio to be able to work more efficiently, i hope i can tell you more soon!"
As you can see the new album isn´t a rumour.

yes, I´m still working on the new album - i hope to get it finished alot faster now with the possibilities to record at home. I´ll keep you updated, thanks for the interest:)

I really can't wait to hear the album, whenever it may be done. All I know is that it will never be soon enough. Hey Tharen, want to start a symphonic black metal band? Just kidding, you don't work with mortals, right?. I love your music, keep up the good work.

Hello Tharen! Are there any new news of the upcoming Dargaard-Album? Would be great to read a line about the album. How far is the process of writing and recording?

Hi all,
sorry that there is no breaking news on a new Dargaard release, but I'm just working on a new Amestigon release which will be in the phase of mixing within a few days from now.
After that I'm going to record vocals for another project again, i already did 2 songs for them, they are Crown thy Horns from Greece. Very good Black/Heathen Metal.
After that I'll be working on Dargaard again. Due to the fact that I hope to move to a new home again in some months i cannot telly you when it will be done - i hope for your patience.

I'm waiting very patiently. The more time you can put into it, the better it will be.
In fact, I'm actually a little nervous, because I have no idea how you're going to top Rise and Fall. But I hope you do!

Actually, Dissolution of Eternity is by far the best album, heh. I listen to all four daily, so am hoping the new album gets back on track. The only group that even comes close to Dargaard is Dark Sanctuary. If anyone knows of one, please post the name for me. You rock Tharen!!
